Overview
Some emails and texts go out on their own when something happens. For example, a household gets one when you approve their notice to leave, when a payment clears, or when a camp spot opens up. Open Reach → Messages → Automatic emails to see every one of them and exactly what people get.
See what an email says
Open Messages → Automatic emails. Emails are grouped by topic, such as membership, payments, camp and lap swim.
Select an email to open its preview.
The preview shows the subject and the full email as members see it. If an email reads differently in different situations (for example, when a refund check will be mailed versus when there was no bond), each version is shown. An email that also goes out as a text shows the text too.
Previews use example names, amounts and dates. To see one with a real household's names, search for the household under Preview it for a household and pick it. The greeting, and for most emails the list of who gets it, come from that household. Amounts, dates and links are still examples.
A preview never sends anything.
Sign-in and security emails
Sign-in links, sign-in codes, "confirm your email address", household invitations and similar emails are listed in a separate group and can't be changed. They read the same for every club, which helps members tell a real one from a fake one.
Changing the wording
You can't change the wording of automatic emails here. Instead:
Newsletters and one-off messages are written on the Write tab.
Extra emails you set up yourself, such as a follow-up a week after someone joins, are on the Workflows tab.
Fees, deadlines and the name your club uses for residents come from Settings, and the emails pick them up automatically.
