Private swim lessons

From instructor availability to a booked lesson.

Open lesson times, let members book and pay online, and give instructors a clear day sheet. Keep lessons connected to the household, the calendar, and the books.

The full lesson workflow

Less scheduling back-and-forth.

  1. Open the right times.

Staff create lesson offerings, instructor profiles, and available slots. Instructors can propose their own times for a manager to approve.

  2. Let families book and pay.

Members browse instructors and available times in their portal. Paid bookings use a temporary reservation while the family completes checkout.

  3. Run the day and review the numbers.

Staff and instructors use day sheets. Payout reports help the treasurer review instructor totals and the club’s facility-fee share.

Connected to the rest of the club

A lesson is part of the household’s story.

Membership

Use the household you already know.

Lesson bookings sit alongside membership, camp, and other club activity. Families use their existing portal account.

Payments

Keep the payment with the booking.

Members pay through the shared invoice flow. Staff can find the booking and its payment without matching records between separate systems.

Staff tools

Give each person the right view.

Managers approve proposed slots, instructors see their own lessons, and authorized staff review payout reports. Club roles still apply.

Lessons currently support one-on-one bookings. Payouts are reports for your treasurer; Swim Ops does not automatically pay instructors or withhold the facility fee through Stripe.

A few good questions

Know what to expect.

Does this support group lessons?

The lessons booking workflow currently supports one-on-one sessions. It does not support multiple swimmers booking seats in the same lesson slot.

Can instructors propose their own times?

Yes. Instructors can propose slots in their own workspace. A manager reviews and approves them before members can book.

How do members book and pay?

Members choose an available time in their portal. A paid booking holds the slot temporarily while they complete checkout. The booking and invoice stay connected.

Does Swim Ops pay instructors automatically?

No. Payout reports help your treasurer review instructor totals and the club’s facility-fee share. They do not transfer money to instructors or withhold the facility fee through Stripe.
