Swim Ops
Privacy policy
Last updated August 22, 2026
Swim Ops is a club operations platform built and operated by LAMO Ventures, LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what personal information we handle, in two distinct roles: as the operator of this website (swimops.io), and as the service provider that runs the Swim Ops platform on behalf of member-owned clubs.
The short version: this website collects almost nothing, club data belongs to the club, and we do not sell personal information or use it for advertising — in either role.
This website (swimops.io)
The marketing site is a static page. It sets no advertising or analytics cookies and runs no third-party trackers. It is served through Cloudflare, which processes visitor IP addresses and request metadata in transient infrastructure logs we use only for security and operations.
The fee calculator runs entirely in your browser; the numbers you enter are not sent to us.
If you email us at hello@swimops.io, we keep the correspondence so we can respond and follow up. We do not add you to any mailing list you did not ask for.
The Swim Ops platform: your club controls its data
Clubs use Swim Ops to run their own operations — memberships, households, dues, waitlists, programs, and communications. For that data the club is the controller and we are its service provider: we process member information only on the club's instructions and only to provide the service.
If you are a member of a club that uses Swim Ops, your relationship is with your club. Questions about what your club stores, or requests to correct or delete your information, should go to your club first; we support clubs in fulfilling them.
- We do not sell personal information, in any role, to anyone.
- We do not use member data for advertising or cross-club profiling.
- Clubs can export their operational records without asking permission.
- Club rosters include minors' names as provided by the club for its own operations (rosters, programs, safety). We process that data solely for the club and never market to children.
Payments
Payment details entered by club members go directly to Stripe, our payment processor. We never receive or store full card numbers or bank account numbers; we keep the transaction records a club needs for its own books (amounts, dates, status, and payment-method summaries like last-four digits).
Service providers
We use a small set of infrastructure providers to run the service, each processing data only as needed for their function:
- Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, and security
- Neon — database hosting
- Stripe — payment processing
- Resend — transactional and club email delivery
- Twilio — SMS delivery
- Sentry — error monitoring
- Google — optional sign-in for platform accounts
A fuller subprocessor listing with regions and purposes will be published in the Swim Ops trust center before general availability.
Security and retention
Data is encrypted in transit. Access to production systems is limited and credentialed; financial records are append-only by design so history cannot be silently rewritten. No vendor should claim security is solved — if you have questions, ask us and we will answer specifically.
We keep club data for as long as the club uses the service. When a club leaves, it takes its export with it, and we delete or return remaining club data on a documented timeline agreed in the club's service agreement.
Your choices
Emails sent through the platform on behalf of clubs include unsubscribe controls where the law requires them, and suppression is enforced platform-wide once you opt out.
Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights to access, correct, or delete personal information. For club data, contact your club (the controller); for anything about this website or our own records, contact us and we will respond.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top and note the change here. Questions, requests, or concerns: hello@swimops.io, or LAMO Ventures, LLC.
