Answer a member question
Use Swim Ops to look up [household name]. Summarize their membership status, balance, and open tickets or tasks. Do not make any changes.AI getting started
Get the answer without opening five screens. Connect a compatible AI app to Swim Ops, sign in as yourself, and start with a task you already do every week.
Swim Ops connects through MCP—the protocol AI apps use to work with other software. Choose an app that supports a remote MCP server over HTTP with OAuth sign-in. The model you choose runs inside that app; model choice alone does not provide a connection.
You’ll need a Swim Ops staff account, Connected tools enabled by your club admin, and permission to add a connector in your AI app. Availability depends on your provider, plan, and workspace settings.
These links open each provider’s instructions. Other apps can connect if they support the same protocol and sign-in flow.
In Swim Ops, open Club → Staff & tools → Connected tools. Choose your app and copy the MCP address shown there. Use your club’s address, not the Swim Ops marketing website.
Follow your provider’s custom MCP connector instructions. Name the connection Swim Ops, paste the address, and use OAuth sign-in. For an app not listed in Swim Ops, choose the “something else” setup option.
https://YOUR-CLUB-DOMAIN/mcpExample only. Replace it with the exact address from Connected tools.
Sign in with your own Swim Ops staff account and read the consent screen. Start with look-only access. Connect through the sign-in flow; do not paste an API key into a conversation.
Enable the connector in your chat and ask it to use Swim Ops. Try one of the prompts below, then compare the answer with the records in your console.

Review the proposed action there; saying “yes” in chat does not replace that approval.
Actions are recorded under your identity. Review your AI provider’s data policies before sharing club information through a connection. You can remove access under Security & devices → Connected apps.
Read the permissions guideAsk your club admin to enable it under Club → Staff & tools. You need a staff account; this guide is for club administration.
Copy the address again from Connected tools and confirm that the app supports remote MCP over HTTP and OAuth. Your AI workspace may require an administrator to allow custom connectors.
Check your role and connection permissions. Some sensitive actions are available only in the Swim Ops console. A connected assistant cannot grant itself additional access.
