Follow these steps at your club’s own website. Available screens and actions depend on your account’s role and the programs your club has enabled.
Overview
Settings → Branding (admins only) makes the member portal, public site, admin console and campaign emails look like your club: a brand color, a logo, a browser/app icon and a public-home hero photo. You choose a brand, not a design — the platform keeps ownership of everything that affects readability (greys, status colors, text sizes, spacing), so a bright brand color can never make a dues page hard to read.
Draft, preview, publish
Every change you make lands in a draft. Members and the public site keep seeing the published branding until you press Publish. While a draft exists you can:
Preview across the site. For the next 30 minutes, you (and only you, in this browser) see the draft everywhere: walk through the portal, a public page and the admin console before anyone else does. Press Stop previewing or just Publish/Discard to end it.
Publish, the draft becomes what everyone sees. Replaced logo/icon/hero files are deleted.
Discard draft, throw the draft away; nothing published changes.
Remove all branding resets everything to the platform default immediately (no draft step) and deletes the uploaded files.
Brand color
Pick a preset or use the color picker (the hex value shows beside it). The first four presets are the club palettes from the customer templates (Classic Pacific, Pinecrest Evergreen, Heritage Navy, Nautical Royal), each with a one-line note on the kind of club it suits; the rest are single colors. The whole accent palette, buttons, links, focus rings, badges, is derived from that one color's hue; the page shows a live sample as you choose. Two things to know:
Greys don't work. A color with almost no hue (black, charcoal, silver) can't produce a palette and is refused; clear the field to use the platform default instead.
Colors close to the platform's status colors get a warning. Red is used for destructive actions and failed payments, green for success states, amber for warnings. If your color sits close to one of those, the page explains the specific consequence (for example, a primary button and a "remove" button will look alike) and asks you to confirm. It's a legibility warning, not a block.
Email uses the same color for headings, links and the call-to-action button.
Logo
Upload a PNG (transparent works best), JPEG, GIF or WEBP up to 1200px wide. SVG is not accepted. Then choose how headers show it:
Logo and club name, the mark followed by the name.
Logo only, for logos that already contain the club name (the name still goes in the image's alt text and in email).
Club name only. The text treatment every club has without a logo.
Icon
A square PNG, at least 256×256. It becomes the browser-tab favicon, the home-screen icon on phones and the app icon, and the site's web manifest carries your club name and brand color. Until you upload one, visitors see the Swim Ops icon.
Public home hero
A wide photo (at least 1200px wide) for the public home page. If you don't upload one, the older Public home hero image (URL) setting is still honored, and without either the bundled default is shown.
What branding never changes
Greys, status colors, text sizes, spacing and layout. Legal names and addresses live under Club → Club info; fees and other policy amounts live under Club (Membership, Payments, Programs). Uploaded images are served from a separate image host, not from your site's own address; that's deliberate and needs nothing from you.
